When my mom asked me, "what do you want for your birthday?", I was a little unsure. Hm, what do I want? I couldn't think of anything I wanted, but instead I thought of everything I needed! Oh let's see, a crib, a stroller, a car seat, bedding, clothing, bottles, diapers, basically everything you need for a baby, I need. UGH! So I decided on a car seat. When we got back from Yelapa we started looking, and realized it was way smarter to buy a car seat-stroller combo. (Just a little inside info, I know no one with a baby, therefore I'm pretty much on my own for figuring this stuff out.) So anyways, we shopped every possible store, in every part of town, for the entire day! I finally found one, other than the one that was green and covered in elephants, that I liked, and knew Nick would approve of as well. I took it to Nick's house so we could assemble it, and I was shocked at how amused he was with it! Like a new xbox game or something haha, he said he needed to practice his curb jumps and wheelies....uh, NO! - While I'm on this point, does anyone know where I can buy a really really tiny helmet? haha, just kidding....kindof! - Nick loved the stroller and was thrilled I chose one with "Dually" front tires.
So, I'm on my way to being prepared for Cael. A stroller is a small step but a definite necessity for sure! I've been buying diapers here and there, of all kinds, as again, I don't know what kind is the best? My mom has picked up some wipes, and Nick and I have splurged a bit on baby clothes.
Soon we will register for the baby shower, which I am planning for May, and hopefully by the time Cael comes we will be ready!
